HoldenAt the time of their 1959 introduction to Indonesia (although Holden-built Chevrolets first arrived in 1938) Holdens were offered by Gaya Motor. After gaining some reputation within the Sixties Udatimex (part of Fritz Eman’s Udatinda Group in Jakarta) took over in 1970. Another sub-company, PT Udatin, acted because the assembler. From 1954 till 1959, Holden Australia held the General Motors rights to all of Australia and Indonesia. The first Holden to arrive in Indonesia was the FC collection. Sales elevated considerably when the regionally assembled Holden Gemini arrived in 1981.
